Civil Service College (CSC) Singapore is a statutory board under the Public Service Division, Prime Minister’s Office. We are the central learning institution for the Singapore Public Service and we play a pivotal role in partnering government ministries and agencies to develop people for a first class public service.
CSC brings together public service officers from diverse backgrounds and provides them opportunities to plug into a service-wide network to exchange views, build shared ethos and perspectives, creating a rich environment for dialogue, knowledge sharing and learning.
Through our programmes and services, CSC aims to build commitment and strategic capacity in governance, leadership, public administration and management for the Singapore Public Service.
Responsibilities
You will lead initiatives to build current and future CSC capabilities in designing, developing and evaluating learning interventions. You are responsible for sourcing for opportunities for collaborations with local and overseas partners to spearhead initiatives that build capabilities within CSC and public sector organisations. This includes assessing new development/research in learning theories, learning methodologies and developing new learning solutions such as using and propriate technological processes and resources. You will provide guidance and advice on assessment of organizational, job & human performance needs in and across public sector agency, to meet the agencies’ needs and Public Service goals. You also establish the criteria and process for assessing and developing trainers and facilitators in CSC as well as provide LD consultancy on how the tool, concept, technique, knowledge or process can be used or be adapted in various applications/situations.
Requirements
•Ability to shape and lead a team of learning designers in the cutting edge of learning and design •Ability to effectively engage participants •Possess up-to-date knowledge of learning technologies, media and tools •Good degree and a Master Degree in Education (Human Resource Development)/Masters of Art in Instructional Design & Technology with at least 10 years of relevant working experience in Instructional Design.
