Responsibilities
We are looking for an Executive/Senior Executive to join our Registry of Co-operative Societies & Mutual Benefit Organisations team. He/she will have the opportunity to shape policies that will impact the members of co-ops, MBOs and the broader community.
He/She will be responsible for:
•The development of policies and regulation of co-operative societies and mutual benefit organisations (‘MBO’s’); and
•The implementation of a risk-based regulatory framework for the co-op and MBO sectors. This will include implementing and assessing the prudential standards, governance and internal controls of the co-ops.
Requirements
•A university degree with at least two years of relevant work experience.
•You should be able to put up written submissions and have a sound knowledge of finance and accounting.
•You should be analytical, self-motivated and be able to work independently.
•Experience in banking/financial institutions or regulatory work will be an added advantage.
