Develop the ministry’s research capabilities as well as build networks with the academia and research community, in support of Ministry’s policy formulation as well as strategic planning requirements.
In charge of the overall development of the ministry’s key initiatives to engage the academia well as relevant experts on social issues. This includes the management of the Family Research Network initiatives as well as the development of engagement forums with relevant experts.
Manage the Ministry’s research agenda, and help identify and address research gaps by undertaking research and drawing policy implications from the findings.
You will work closely with various stakeholders, particularly the academia as well as social experts and policymakers in the social sector.
Good honours degree in the social sciences or related disciplines, with at least 4 years work experience. Strong analytical, quantitative and communications skills. A keen interest in social issues is an advantage.
