The Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (Muis) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports. It seeks to develop a Muslim community with strong Islamic credentials that thrives in the contemporary world, and is an active partner in nation-building. At Muis, we strive to fulfil the values of compassion and inclusiveness. We design and deliver programmes which are targeted to create a community that is a blessing and inspirational to all.
Responsibilities
Establish and strengthen contacts with students in their respective regions
Assess suitability of courses and institutions for students
Conduct engagement sessions and skills workshops to develop students
Administer students' affairs including formalising requirements for students to obtain Letter of No Objection from Muis
Provide counselling and dialogue sessions among students.
Carry out any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Islamic Sciences preferably in Syariah and Usuluddin
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Good communication skills.
Resourceful and able to work independently.
Experience dealing with youths.
Fresh graduates may apply.
